Tired looking eyes are an issue for most women. This is where we show our first sign of ageing. When you look in the mirror nothing is more depressing than seeing puffy eyes and dark circles staring right back at you. Let’s face it, no woman wants to see this on their wedding day. This is the day where brides should feel absolutely fabulous. By investing in a good concealer, those tired eyes can be easily taken care of.
Choosing the right concealer to awaken those tired eyes is a task in itself. With so many concealers to chose from, how do you find that perfect concealer that delivers what it promises. From the moment I hit my 20’s, I have been on the hunt for a concealer that actually works. I have tried numerous brands with the hope that the product will disguise my puffy eyes and dark circles without being too thick that it sits in my fine lines.
In 2013, whilst in Philadelphia, I walked into Sephora. I was on a mission to find the right concealer that would work for me. The sales assistant asked me what I was after. I told her I wanted a concealer that will actually cover my dark circles, diminish the appearance of my puffy eyes and most importantly sit on top of my fine lines. I was introduced to AmazingConcealer from Amazing Cosmetics. The sales assistance told me that this it was a full coverage, water proof concealer that makes all skin imperfections disappear. At first I was skeptical. I have been told this numerous times which I have always ended up disappointed with the coverage delivered. But being open to new products and wanting to judge the results myself, I decided to give this product a go. I have never looked back.
So what makes AmazingConcealer so amazing. This concealer is a highly pigmented formula that provides full coverage, still giving you that natural look. It is available in 20 shades. It covers dark circles, blemishes, broken capillaries, reduces that appearances of bags and even covers up sun damage spots. Some of the shades that are available are shown below.
What I like about this product is that is is available in 2 different sizes, 5 ml and 15ml. The 5ml provides a good opportunity to try the product before you invest in a larger size.
Being so highly pigmented, all you need is a little bit as it blends very easily. The delivery system of this concealer is a bit problematic as it is quite easy to over squeeze the tube so be careful as you will end up with more product than you require.
The website gives a helpful tutorial on how to apply to concealer. See attached link.
The disadvantage of this product is that it is difficult to obtain in Australia. Part 2 of the blog, ill recommend more concealers that can be purchased in Australia.
Concealers are a personal preference. What works for one person, does not work on someone else. When I was a bride, I wanted to look as perfect as I possibly could. Making sure my eyes looked at their optimum was very important to me. If you can get your hands on this product, I would highly recommend that you give this product a go.
